    Why does “Why???” think his opinion on MIDNIGHT IN PARIS matters in terms of what gets nominated and what doesn’t? I, too, don’t think it’s that good. But that’s totally beside the point. Middle-brow Oscar voters clearly think it is that good.

    I don’t know if it qualifies for Original or Adapted but I think the screenplay for 50/50 was really good and will probably get overlooked. It had the difficult task of making a movie about cancer funny and it succeeded.
