How could anyone resist voting for the irresistibly charming Jean Dujardin? Clooney is handsome and charming too but Dujardin is so new, fresh and exciting. I’m still mad at the Globes for cutting away from his dancing after winning Best Actor.

I see that only the perennially-clueless Sasha Stone has Midnight in Paris outside the top 5, which is gratifying. Of course, its true spot is in the top 3, but I shouldn’t expect miracles from the Gurus.

Steven, honestly I don’t even remember making that list — for a long time now I have the best picture race this way (if you read my site you’d know this but please don’t come and read it – stay here)

1. The Artist
2. The Descendants
3. Hugo
4. The Help
5. Midnight in Paris
6. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
7. Moneyball
8. War Horse

My predictions are — 7. I don’t remember putting Paris outside of the five but I’ve long said what the five would be if there five and Midnight in Paris would be in there – so this was just a mistake on my part, or a typo.

But since I’m here, go fuck yourself.
