Men In Black III International Numbers, June 1 Weekend

ASIA
CHINA added a big 15.4 on 5,200 screens, falling just 29% from its opening weekend and still #1 in the market.  The cume is now 51.0.  JAPAN earned 4.6 on 980 screens, off just 36% from last weekend and also still #1, bringing the market total to 19.0.  KOREA fell 53% in its 2ndframe and still #1 in the market, grossing 3.8, cume now 18.0.  Other markets include MALAYSIA (-42%, grossing 1.2, cume 4.2), HONG KONG (-47%, grossing 1.1, cume 4.2),INDONESIA (-43%, grossing 1.0, cume 3.1), TAIWAN (-54%, .905/5.5), SINGAPORE (-54%, .900/3.5), PHILPPINES (-51%, .805/2.8), INDIA (-70%, .695/4.3), THAILAND (-65%, .450/2.9), and VIETNAM (-45%, .120/.520).

PACIFIC
AUSTRALIA fell off just 29% from its opening weekend, grossing 3.7 and bringing the market cume to a great 10.3.  NEW ZEALAND was off just 26% (.490/1.4).  #1 holds in both markets.

EUROPE
GERMANY had an amazing hold, falling off just 2% from its opening weekend, grossing 5.3 on 987 screens continuing at #1 in the market.  Cume is 13.9.  The UK was up 2% in its 2ndweekend, earning 4.9 on 913 screens (2nd in the market) and bringing the market total to 12.9.  FRANCE fell off 48% in its 2nd frame with 3.2 on 757 screens, also #2 in the market.  Cume now 11.0.  SPAIN was down 43% in its 2nd weekend with 1.6 on 781, cume now 5.5. ITALY fell off 49% with 1.5 on 658 screens, bringing the cume to 5.9.  Other markets includeHOLLAND (-5%, grossing .570, cume 1.6), AUSTRIA (-39%, .490/2.0), BELGIUM (-20%, .470/1.2), SWITZERLAND (-53%, .465/1.7), SWEDEN (-8%, .435/1.3), DENMARK (-29%, .420/1.4), NORWAY (-39%, .345/1.4), and FINLAND (-28%, .140/.550)

LATIN AMERICA
MEXICO fell off just 36% from its opening weekend, grossing 3.7 on 1,250 screens, 2nd in the market, and bringing the cume to 11.8.  BRAZIL held at #1, grossing 3.0 on 785 while falling off just 39% and pushing the market total to 10.3.  Other markets include COLOMBIA (-35%, #1 in the market with .975, cume 3.0), VENEZUELA (-23%, #1 in the market with .955, cume 2.9),ARGENTINA (-55%, .860/3.1), PERU (-29%, .655/1.9), CHILE (-23%, .540/1.4), CENTRAL AMERICA (-37%, .515/1.7), and ECUADOR (-47%, .230//850)

EASTERN EUROPE/MIDDLE EAST/AFRICA
RUSSIA fell off 62%, grossing 7.0 on 1,550 screens and bringing the market cume to 30.8.  Other markets include the UAE (-50%, .645/2.2), UKRAINE (.625/2.8), CZECH REPUBLIC(opened with .486 on 102 screens, #1 in the market), POLAND, (up 20%, .450/1.1), ISRAEL (-19%, .400/1.0), SOUTH AFRICA (-47%, .295/1.0), HUNGARY (-46%, .200/.750), and TURKEY(-51%, .195/.785).
