    —Obviously, I am still a fan of “Ivory Game” and “Zero Days.” But based on 2015-2016, how many more weeks until a clear favorite to win in the Documentary Feature catagory becomes obvious?

    —And yes, maybe something unexpected will happen.

    with such a light year (only six films with eleven votes and then a big drop off and lots of disagreement), what are the chances of highly praised early films like Jungle Book or Hail Caesar sneaking in unexpectedly?

    Also, it is completely insane to me that Alden Ehrenreich isn’t a front runner in the supporting actor category. I know the gurus are only allowed to be gurus if they push only the names the publicists tell them to push. 😉 (which is why everyone herds to the same five-ten conclusions in every category in spite of everyone having seen hundreds of films that should result in a far more diverse outcome), but you’d think the best supporting performance of the year would merit more than the total crickets.
