Annapurna Partners With Distribs In Japan, France, Italy
ANNAPURNA EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION WITH LONGRIDE, MARS, AND EAGLE/LEONE PARTNERSHIPS
Los Angeles, CA (May 24, 2017) – Continuing to grow its global reach, Annapurna has inked three new multi-year international distribution deals with Longride, Mars Distribution, and Eagle Pictures and Leone Film Group in select territories, it was announced today. Longride and Mars will be handling the Japanese and French markets, respectively, with Eagle Pictures and Leone Film Group teaming up to tackle Italy.
The partnerships will begin this summer with Kathryn Bigelow’s DETROIT, set for release in the U.S. on August 4, 2017. As part of Annapurna’s growing marketing and distribution operation, each of the new deals will cover both theatrical and home entertainment for DETROIT as well as all subsequent Annapurna film titles in the respective territories.
The new partnerships fortify Annapurna’s foreign presence, building upon the recently announced partnership with distributor eOne covering Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Benelux, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
The deal was negotiated by Kimberly Fox and Don Hardison of Annapurna.

Bigelow also directed and partnered with Annapurna on the animated short LAST DAYS, about illegal elephant poaching and the ivory trade.
