watched jersey shore shark attack 2012 – syfy

it was stupid but not extra stupid liked i expected .

    here’s a review

NerdzRL made her 1000th video blog

20 minutes of footage – most of its amateur cam

most of NerdzRL videos are 10 minutes long….i think
she’s trying to become a part of the film industry – actress mostly ..with 1000 videos i would think somebody from hollywood would find her …she’s probably compared to Emma Stone a lot …not the looks but the way she speaks.

listened to a podcast with Danny Trejo – he talks about how he got into acting but he made like dozen movies with
Robert Rodriguez which is way more movies than Bill Murruay does with Wes Anderson – but the movie critics keep talking about those two more than Danny Trejo movies.

favorite scifi right now – discovery channel’s “Through the Wormhole” – they have new topics about space the recent episode is the universe alive
talks about black holes and show they create more universes… plus other episodes of dark engry and dark matter … very interesting complex stuff ..discovery doesn’t seem to promote this series enough – people just want more reality tv shows from them .

Several threads back, a few of you (including our friendly moderator) took me to task for saying that Sandler had hit the wall, and the proof was that his grosses were dropping precipitously and unlikely to turn around soon.

THAT’S MY BOY will do about $15 mill this weekend. Apologies are now being accepted. 😀

  3. Foamy Squirrel says:

And I, for one, welcome our new Cadavra overlords. I’d like to remind you that as a trusted blogger, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in your underground atmospherium caves.

  4. waterbucket says:

I live for dumb Syfy movies. Nothing is better than a Sunday afternoon, waking up from a nap, and watching Syfy maneater series.

  5. Chucky says:

Adam Sandler continues his quest to dominate the Razzies …

Warner Bros. hypes “Rock of Ages” by name-checking “Hairspray” …

    Epic fail in spades!

  6. Paul D/Stella says:

Michael Madsen in Piranhaconda tonight Syfy fans!

Is anyone surprised that the R-rated That’s My Boy didn’t do as well as your typical PG-13 Sandler comedy? I don’t think it proves anything. Grown Ups 2 and the football comedy with Ferrell will see more normal Sandler numbers.

Speaking of R ratings, is Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter the next poor performer? Is there a wide audience out there for this? Sure looks like it was expensive too.

I had been aware of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World but until yesterday forgot that it’s opening Friday. Has Focus screened it yet? I’ve seen next to nothing as far as TV spots or media coverage.

  7. scooterzz says:

despite the roger corman connection, ‘piranhaconda’ doesn’t quite live up to the rest of syfy’s june schedule….next week’s ‘arachnoquake’ (w/bug hall, tracey gold and a totally bloated edward furlong) is much better….then there’s ‘big foot’ (w/ danny bonaduce and barry williams as feuding rock stars along with sherilyn fenn, billy idol, alice cooper and howard hessman all directed by bruce davidson)…. gotta love syfy….

  8. Breedlove says:

DP, are you going to do that second PROMETHEUS review? Hope so.

  9. martin s says:

Don’t know about cost, but when a guy with a wood ax just has to kill vampires in pirouette kung-fu spins, it’s raising it hand to follow Nispel’s Conan into pandering kewlery and a dismal box office.

Hoping to god Abe Blade brings an end to the reviso-hippification of the 1800’s. Steampunk was interesting several years ago, when it was a handful of blogs and some whackos building masks and props. But at this rate, RDJ’s Holmes is going to sword fight Liam Hemsworth’s Jack Hyde on top the Tower of London, and we’re all going to be wondering when did LXG2 revert to WB.

scooterz – stars along with sherilyn fenn…

Take that back. In my world, Fenn does not age and will not be appearing on SyFy.

    …omg…she’s appearing at comicons?

If I see a current pic of linda fiorentino, you can just shut the web off.

  10. sanj says:

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter seems like a syfy movie .

    article about unlimited movie passes

DP – your the business guy – can any theatre chain offer this ?

  11. cadavra says:

Thank you, Foamy. and rest assured your loyalty will be handsomely rewarded during my reign of horror.

Speaking of horror, I met Tiffany a couple of years ago after she’d just wrapped MEGAPYTHON VS. GATOROID, and joked that it was too long a title and they should come up with something simpler, like…PIRANHACONDA. And now you’re telling me they’ve actually done it???

  12. christian says:

    “You Lie!”

    Oh, wait sorry. Wrong room.

  13. Don R. Lewis says:

Even though I’m dying of boredom and it’s going to be over 100 degrees here today, I have ZERO desire to pay to go see THAT’S MY BOY in a theater. However, I’ll gladly rent it on DVD or PPV for a 6 pack in a month or 2. I dunno if I speak for everyone, but it doesn’t strike me as a theater experience. Maybe they should have tested day and date release with the $40 PPV like they were going to do with TOWER HEIST on this one.

  14. Joe Leydon says:

I realize I’m likely in a very small minority on this blog, but I’m actually looking forward to Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The novel was quite clever. And I had fun interviewing Benjamin Walker (the star) and director Timur Bekmambetov for, no kidding, Cowboys & Indians Magazine. They both insisted that the tone will be serious, not campy. Says Walker: “The only joke is in the title. After that, we completely commit to it. And it becomes a drama-thriller about our greatest American hero.”

So I had to ask: What was more difficult, being a credible Abraham Lincoln or a persuasive vampire killer?

Walker laughed and replied: “That’s a very interesting question. But look, once you get used to being Abraham Lincoln, killing vampires is easy. Because, hey, you’re Abraham Lincoln. So you just look at vampires and say, ‘OK, they’ve got to go.’”

I’m going to miss the Tuesday night screening here because I’ll be out of town doing a location story. But I’ll prepare myself by watching Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies on DVD.

  15. Paul D/Stella says:

I want to see AL:VH too Joe (if nothing else it’s got Anthony Mackie), but I just don’t see it making much money. It’s R, it has an Asylum mockbuster title, and I think it will have a hard time finding a wide audience this time of year.

  16. Joe Leydon says:

The weird thing is, there is no significant black character in the book. And there’s really no one specific vampire antagonist (a role I assume Rufus Sewell is playing.) That — along with the burning railroad bridge shown prominently in the trailer — makes me suspect Seth Grahame-Smith made quite a few changes while adapting his novel for the screen.

  17. LexG says:

Since you guys are authorities, what on EARTH is anyone thinking with June 29?

Magic Mike, Madea’s Witness Protection, TED, People Like Us, all on the same date? Why did Universal actively pounce on that date after GI JOE left?

Seems heinously overstuffed with light/comedy/silly fare, each of which would’ve opened okay if it had the weekend to itself, but that seems like an April or October clusterfuck when they throw like five mid-rangers out at once to see what sticks. (I assume TED’ll do well and Magic Mike is gonna bomb like Nagasaki.)

Next week is pretty brutal too. None of this stuff could’ve spread out to dead zone May with its ONE MOVIE PER WEEK?

  18. Don R. Lewis says:

I’d be shocked if the seriousness of which ABE LINCOLN THE VAMPIRE SLAYER takes itself (at least in the trailers) translates well to audiences. I was kiiiinda excited to see it but those trailers have zero tongue in cheek.

  19. cadavra says:

Joe, I’m also looking forward to it. Walker impressed the hell out of me as another President in the otherwise meh BLOODY, BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. Plus Wells thinks it’ll be garbage, so that’s another vote in its favor. 😀

I think I should get to work on AL JOLSON: VAMPIRE HUNTER. All Singing! All Dancing! All Biting!

  20. Fitzgerald says:

I would have imagined the ridiculous, fun-promising title combined with dour “cool” movie would have be killed by Cowboys and Aliens. But here it is again. Why does everything have to be “gritty?”

  21. Joe Leydon says:

Fitz: Not necessarily gritty, but avoiding the obvious. Interviewed the writers and director of Cowboys and Aliens, and found they were all pretty much on the same page: They didn’t want to make a comedy or a spoof — they wanted to drop extraterrestrials into a traditional Western, and see what happened. I know many — most? — folks were underwhelmed by the result, but I have to say I was quite impressed by the movie, and respected the fact that they didn’t do something “ridiculous” or campy.

As for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter: The book takes seriously — very seriously — the underlying metaphor of slaveowners as bloodsuckers, feasting upon their human chattel. How much of that will make it into the movie? I don’t know. But I freely admit, I’m intrigued by the allegorical possibilities of The Great Emanciptaor as an axe-swinging Dr. Van Helsing.

  22. Fitzgerald says:

I hear ya, Joe. I’m just suggesting that the title, to me, promises something very different than the film, which leads to confusion in marketing and perception. The buy-in is different; you are demanding to be taken seriously with a title that sends a different signal. C&A fought against their title, as is Lincoln: VH, instead of leaning into it.

Myself, I’d be much more interested in the version of both movies that has a poppy, fun, anarchic sense of humor. Was bemoaning the pressure at studios for everything to be “serious,” even somewhat ridiculous concepts.

  23. Brady says:

Sanj, thanks for the recommendation on Through the Wormhole. Sounds so awesome. I’m grateful these types of things still get made and seeking it out immediately!

  24. sanj says:

hey guys – what do you think is the most important website on the internet … the answer seems simple – facebook or twitter – other social networking sites – but if the website was 100% gone and never coming back .. my pick would be youtube ..there’s just no way everybody who added a video on there has backups ..

while facebook might be worth 50-100 billion or some crazy number ..what do you think youtube is worth now ? 500 billion ?

i know the government is supposed to be evil and stuff but youtube needs government protection ..same thing wtih
twitter and maybe a dozen other sites .all this important info must never be deleted .

so far it seems google hasn’t done anything evil with youtube .

  25. Brady says:

The most important site in the world is what people would actually pay money for. Would people pay to upload videos to YouTube?
    “”
I think I subjectively vote for Rdio. The first entity I’ve ever paid out, now i get music for as long as they exist. Unlimited, awesome music. I don’t share my ego, I get to share with stuff that makes me appreciate the Internet.

  26. SamLowry says:

The stink over Dubya’s unrecognizable head making a brief appearance in Game of Thrones had me sighing at first, then I thought about it and realized the entertainment press is packed with hypocrites.

Sure, all that sex and violence is great popcorn fun as long as it’s disposable junk, no more substantial than a Harlequin romance or a zombie novel, but introduce the merest sliver of realism, maybe even a hint of “What if…this is an alternate Earth where Dubya played the Game…and lost?” then all of a sudden shit gets far too real.

“Oh hell no, you didn’t just slap a heavy-metal wig on the beloved head of our Dubya, the, uh…cutter of taxes for the wealthy and the, uh, man who tanked the economy…and then slice that latex sucker off for our cheap thrills, did you?!?”

  27. Brady says:

I’m obviously talking shit, but think about it. Isn’t real value what we monetize?

  28. sanj says:

well all videos on youtube start out zt zero views and go up from there …

what i’m getting at is youtube is part of culture more than most other video sites ..

unesco world heritage sites saves real places on earth
mostly parks around the world – so you can’t cut down
the trees …but who’s trying to save youtuve videos
    from being deleted forever ..

youtube videos can only grow with everybody with a cell phone camera …youtube is worldwide and there has to be
people trying to censor videos every second ..

if youtube went away 100% – then that would be good for
other video sites but it just means they can go down as well.

the major banks and car companies nearly went out of business a few years ago …

  29. Joe Leydon says:

Fitz: Can’t say I’ve noted an excess of seriousness in Hollywood product lately. Indeed, I view Cowboys & Aliens almost as an outlier in that regard. (Can’t speak for sure about Abe Lincoln until I see it.) On the other hand: I’ve recently added to my list of guilty pleasures The Warrior’s Way, a outrageously over-the-top ninja western that appeared to be co-directed by Sergio Leone and Federico Fellini. I think it lasted a week in theaters.

  30. Foamy Squirrel says:

Sanj – most important website is undoubtedly google. However, it’s not the most irreplaceable website. If google died tomorrow, people would just shift to Bing or Yahoo. Similarly, if Facebook died people would just migrate to Google+ or (shudder) back to MySpace.

But if Youtube died tomorrow? Yeah, not replacing that anytime soon.

  31. sanj says:

Joe – The Warrior’s Way – i really liked Kate Bosworth acting in that….LOOK AT HER!!! – i found her hotter
in that than Blue Crush and yet i was kinda bored with her when she finally did the dp/30.

youtube – google can easily kill it if they started charged people per view – twitter and facebook can also get into video pretty easily..facebook bought instagram for 1 billion and they do pictures from cell phones …

youtube seems more powerful than the major tv networks … tv networks probably not so happy about that.

with all the video coming into youtube – how do they not lose it ? maybe a hard drive fails ..

i think youtube will be around in 10 years – the business model might change …

facebook is getting knocked around by privacy concerns ..

google probably had the money when facebook and twitter started and could have bought them then .

google could have bought ebay and amazon.com too …
ecommerce still kinda important – ebay bought paypal for 1.5 billion ..

how many people would pay youtube 10 bucks to watch the dark knight rises ?

  32. christian says:

Watched the trailer for ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER and almost couldn’t believe what I was seeing it was so stupid with total sincerity. Maybe it’ll work.

  33. LexG says:

CHRISTIAN always seems like the least fun human being EVER, like NO sense of humor or fun.

  34. movieman says:

Since you guys are authorities, what on EARTH is anyone thinking with June 29?

I asked the same question a few weeks ago, Lex, when Universal moved “Ted” up to the 29th after “Joe” pulled its disappearing act.
I’m still trying to wrap my brain around why opening a raunchy, R-rated high concept comedy (with a popular actor like Wahlberg) opposite an “Ice Age” sequel was so much worse rom a marketing standpoint than bowing opposite three other films (“People,” “Mike,” the Perry) with similar–i.e., adult–demographics.
And also can’t fathom why Univ. would prefer to open “Savages”–which, let’s face it, needs all the help it can get–versus Spidey’s opening weekend rather than, say, an “Ice Age” flick.
Not giving moviegoers above the age of 12 an adult alternative is the reason so many grown-ups have abandoned the theatrical experience.
I know everybody is running scared of “TDK,” but still.

  35. LexG says:

SAVAGES is gonna tank anywhere… Much as I’m stoked, that’s an OCTOBER MOVIE. It is going to BOMB LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER in July.

  36. scooterzz says:

movieman — have you seen ‘ted’ yet?… it’s a very soft ‘r’ and not really raunchy (compared to ‘that’s my boy’, anyway)…..

  37. movieman says:

No, Scooter. They’re not showing it here until Monday the 25th.
Soft, huh? I was kinda thinking early Farrelly Bros. (e.g., “Mary”) level of sexual outrageousness.
That’s too bad–for me anyway, lol.
What do you think? Will that help or hurt it at the b.o.?

  38. sanj says:

put all these new movies up on youtube and charge 3 dollars each …youtube gets 25 cents – the movie people keep the rest.

is Ted really a theate experience ? looks like a upgraded tv movie . SP4 – TDR – Ice Age 4 – they need the big screen.

i’d like to see interviews with people who pay full price for movie tickets even though they got bad reviews ..
some people have money to burn …

beasts of the southern wild is opening at the end of the month – now this movie got some awards …
haven’t seen too much promotion. there is a dp/30 but DP hasn’t put it up yet…

but why isn’t anybody talking about the artist anymore..
Berenice Bejo – she should be doing like more english films . more interviews. haven’t heard of her in a long time. she was super funny in the dp/30… when the hype is gone its gone.

  39. scooterzz says:

i liked it a lot…it’s much more good natured than i think people are expecting…and, the ‘r’ is strictly for language and drug (pot) usage….it’s actually kinda sweet….as far as b.o. goes…i have no clue…i’m horrible at predicting that sort of thing…probably because i really don’t care (not my money, after all)….

  40. SamLowry says:

The problem with opening Ted against Ice Age is that both movies share the same audience.

Considering the average Family Guy fan is about 12 years old, I guarantee some PG movie no one expected much from (like, say, Snow Day back in 2000) will experience massive ticket sales when Ted premieres.

Oh, on a related note, has anyone heard of other theaters circumventing Sony’s blockade on passes by issuing tickets to other movies (like, say, The Avengers) and then telling the patron “Ignore the ticket, just go to theater X”?

  41. Geoff says:

Obvious question that I asked a few weeks ago regarding June 29 – why the hell didn’t Sony strike while the iron was hot and move Spiderman to that weekend??

It’s got barely two weeks until Dark Knight comes out and absolutely clobbers it – there is no doubt in my mind, remember how Hancock dropped sharply when the the last Dark Knight came out four years ago? Hancock was still a major hit as will Spiderman but given the way the schedule is laid out now, Sony is pretty much ensuring that it will not break $250 million domestic.

  42. scooterzz says:

i get the dig but, actually, ‘family guy’ rates highest with men 18-34….

  43. SamLowry says:

    Maybe physically they’re 18-34….

The most telling moment came a few months back when I was in a 6th grade classroom containing one very, umm, special boy. During a discussion of Ender’s Game where Peter Wiggin’s name was all over the board, this ADHD case got up uninvited, grabbed the chalk and eraser, and changed every “Wiggin” to “Griffin”.

  44. sanj says:

Ted stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis should go outside theatres and protest other movies that are opening beside them …

Ted should be free on fox … hype it up – gets 30-50 million people watching – make more money off the tv ads.

i figure SP4 and Dark Knight will be sold out – so people will complain on twitter how they coudln’t get in..
so this will make Christian Bale and Emma Stone sad.
see sometimes too much hype can be a bad thing.
    – this doesn’t apply to film critics. you can get into
    any movie you want.

  45. Christian says:

Yeah, when I think “fun” I think “Lex.”

  46. sanj says:

i officially name nerdist as a competitor to dp/30 …
they’ve got 20 different audio podcasts that are usually 1 hour …most of the time the actors they get are mostly on tv but they have more fun and it gets more personal .

i’d say 12 different nerdist audio podcasts are better than what DP does with actors …

so while DP didn’t didn’t add any new dp/30 this weekend i’m listening to some new nerdist audio podcasts…

most of the time nerdist don’t review things on
    their podcasts..which kinda sucks

chances are DP has no idea who nerdist is . nerdist has no idea who DP is .

    http://www.nerdist.com/podcasts/

lots of great interviews on the internets if you know
    where to find them.

also gawker is getting boring now … they had this huge network and i don’t know whats going on

  47. Joe Leydon says:

Just watched Asylum’s AMERICAN WARSHIPS, and I have to admit: It was more fun than BATTLESHIP.

  48. Captain_Celluloid says:

    NEVELDINE-TAYLOR OPINE ON PROMETHEUS

RT @neveldinetaylor: a lot of talk about plot holes in Prometheus but the flute that turns on the spaceship pissed me off

    **SIGH**

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not everyone is entitled
    to a megaphone.

    Hmmmm, Neveldine-Taylor . . RIdley Scott . . . .
who’s opinion should get more weight.

    Hmmmmm

graphs of what the world would be like without the internet

    http://www.buzzfeed.com/cconnelly/the-world-without-the-internet-s3x

hey Joe – do you care about reality tv stars ?
ever interview any of them .

  50. LexG says:

Hey the other day I got this trailer from Focus for some RANCID-looking “phone sex” comedy, some BRIDESMAIDS cash-in with “WOMEN BEING FUNNY” doing gross-out gags like peeing in cups and masturbating…

Justin Long is the ONLY person I ever recognized in the trailer, so tell me, because I am NOT looking it up… Who are those two HIDEOUS WOMEN in the trailer? Some blonde skank with a bad nose DOING COMEDY who looked maybe a little familiar, and some brunette I never saw before…

How/Why are they banking on two unappealing “FUNNY WOMEN” making for a sleeper?

And does anyone really like Justin Long?

  51. Joe Leydon says:

Sanj: I have watched a few episodes of The Voice, and that’s about it.

  52. SamLowry says:

I love the comments below the article “Lionsgate Reportedly Considering Rebooting Twilight”. Makes you wonder how ready folks are for the Spidey reboot; Sony might get a surprise next month.

    http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=91609

…and then there’s “Green Lantern doesn’t seem like such a flop anymore does it?” following the article “Box Office: Madagascar 3 Leads a Weekend of Stinkers”. Internet irony can be so cruel sometimes.

    http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=91590

  53. sanj says:

    watched Piranhaconda – syfy …

yeah this was pretty stupid but it wasn’t fun too watch

this syfy movie had a huge cast – they had to give 15 people something to do …

there were only like 3-4 girls in bikinis running around
screaming – at first i was LOOK AT HER!!! – Shandi Finnessey – but she was the only one who could sorta act.
she out acted Michael Madsen ..who looked like he was
in another movie half the time

not bad for doing a few syfy movies – before that she was
on reality shows and beauty contests.
there’s a chance she can be a bigger star if she stops
    with the syfy stuff.

  54. sanj says:

Anderson Cooper – cnn – replies to people on twitter

when your like real famous – probably not a good idea
to fight with fans or maybe it is .

also LexG is funny and knows movies – there must be like 10 movie people who could interview him … at this point he probably wants 1000 bucks per interview.
price goes up the more famous he gets.

  55. sanj says:

Marisa Tomei face looks different. bad lighting ?
    makeup ?

  56. Yancy Skancy says:

Lex: I’m late to this thread, but the movie you asked about is FOR A GOOD TIME, CALL…, which premiered at Sundance this year. The blonde is Ari Graynor (who was good in NICK AND NORAH’S INFINITE PLAYLIST) and Lauren Miller, co-writer of the film and the future Mrs. Seth Rogen.

I’ve actually like Justin Long since the series ED, though I guess he’s a bit overexposed at this point.

  57. sanj says:

2 weeks with no dp/30’s – now in 2 days there are 6 dp/30’s …the good new is theres all new people …the bad news is
DP doesn’t attempt to hype any of these interviews.

Aubrey Plaza dp/30 will probably be the biggest hit cause
    she’s on tv.

Mark Andrews dp/30 – dude is scary.

Jonathan Lisecki dp/30 – dude is wacky.

Benh Zeitlin – Ben Richardson dp/30 – belong in a
    Todd Phillips movie.

Jennifer Lawrence dp/30 – should have got 1 million views by now – DP isn’t out there promoting the gold he has.
give this away for free to any tv station just for promotional purposes.

as always since last year – the people i want for a dp/30
    still haven’t come up .

  58. sanj says:

power of social media – without major critics even noticing.

Laina made 2 videos that went viral and got 5 million hits…so thats impressive.

2 parody songs — one is about stalking people.

  59. SamLowry says:

    Quoth Tim Burton:

“I don’t know if I would ever know a good script if it bit me in the face.”

    http://collider.com/tim-burton-beetlejuice-2-sequel-big-eyes-interview/164218/

(Yeah, it’s nearly two months old, but considering the writer of Beetlejuice 2 is the same mind behind this year’s Dark Shadows and Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, now might be the best time to drive a stake in this sucker.)

  60. sanj says:

watched the full dp30 with Aubrey Plaza

so awkward and funny at K-Stew level – Colin Trevorrow runied it by talking about the movie .

Aubrey Plaza needs her own dp/30 …

it’ll probably take another 18 months before she comes back..for another interview. kinda sucks DP didn’t see the comic genius that happened.

  61. sanj says:

DP – Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza dp/30 are pretty good –
you need to make some new banners and put them on top
of the page..and promote this …i get a feeling that these 2 tv stars are going to get more views than more
movie award hyped films. also helps if you cut more sneek peeks under 2 minutes …

i’m guessing nobody else from community will shop for an interview….

  62. sanj says:

DP – you know sports – why do the mainstream network still show sports – Sunday afternoon – nbc is showing some diving – cbs is showing golf – abc is showing infomercials.

if there are dozen sports tv channels – why aren’t they on there ?

rich old guys love golf and cbs can make money off them ?

if nbc wants to boost its tv shows – show the tv shows …

nbc / cbs / abc / fox hardly shows movies anymore ? why aren’t you critics mad at them ?

  63. sanj says:

i’ve had the music for Project X movie stuck in my head all day ..

Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Heads Will Roll

the music is the movie is very important – they must have had 100 songs to choose from … it should get some sort of award..maybe an oscar.

but it won’t even get a dp/30 for it …cause DP only likes Disney / Muppet movies soundtracks.

DP is too old for rap and hiphop..which kinda sucks

  64. SamLowry says:

The Matrix is a superb example of choosing the best music out there, while Reloaded is a superb example of epic failure because they want back to the same artists and asked for new music designed to fit the movie.

    Bad, bad, bad, yick, bad.

Sorry, though, but I didn’t get an earworm from your track. Bulletproof, however, has been stuck in my head all weekend. Damn college radio and their mind-blowing Max Headroom-style shit. (And I can’t help but think that Elly Jackson would be Lex’s kryptonite.)

six days has been in a few different movies

six days by mos def – fast furious movie

it was made by dj shadow ..so i listened to his
songs he made…over a dozen …with lots of music videos.

so one small things leads to another .. dj shadow is still making music .

so i want a dp/30 with mos def – who changed his name – he did an awesome interview with Colbert.

it really sucks cause DP hates rap / hiphop and i don’t recall too many rappers hanging out with DP.
i mean one of them rappers must have something interesting to say right ?

Nicki Minaj is hot right now – she makes a lot of interesting music videos ….

just want to be surprised by a totally random musician
    for a dp/30 .

i asked last year about Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga dp/30 – and nothing……they’ve given out too many interviews. still very popular …

which musicans need a dp/30 that have something to do with movies so they qualify.

watched the newsroom – hbo .

whats the law and order old guy doing on here ?

Dev Patel is huge movie star gets little screen time ..

first 5 minutes was awesome .

i wasn’t too stupid to understand a Sorkin show. crazy.

oscar bloggers will want to give an oscar for this cause
    they love Sorkin.

also since DP is cranking out dp/30 of tv show stars for some reason… Don Knotts was amazing as Mr.Furley on three’s company he needs dp/30 . DP get on that.

I can’t listen to Nicki Minaj without hearing Betty Boo (Not only the first but definitely the best, to my ear at least).

I did think it was hilarious when Minaj purists complained that she was going pop, which is the same complaint heard back in the day from country fans when beloved stars like Shania Twain and Taylor Swift crossed over.

And if you think there’s any difference at all between country fans and rap fans:

a lot of rap videos have 10 million views or more on youtube and a lot of that probably has to do with the music videos – so there has to be some decent acting going on ..
Nicki Minaj is worth 12 million according to reports .

she looks different every time – colorful clothes and makeup…

Nicki Minaj Sings ‘Super Bass’ with some kids – 42 million views

i’ve asked like 3 times about getting 50 cent for a dp/30 – he is a rapper and actor – he’s got several movies he’s doing … he’s played a lot of gang members / tough guy roles ..wanna see if he can break out of that.
