  1. Tracker Backer says:

Just another note to say that the A24 movie is “Krisha,” not Krishna.

  2. KrazyEyes says:

Just like your last note this will go ignored. there’s either nobody here to see it or nobody here who cares.

  3. HWLL says:

Absolutely horrid opening for The Bronze. It really should have been a simultaneous VOD release.

  4. Big G says:

And Spectre FINALLY hit $200 million domestic.

  5. Ray Pride says:

It’s corrected in the box office on the front page.

  6. Jerryishere says:

Fwiw, the star wars cume seems off too

  7. movieman says:

I think Sony may have fudged “Spectre” grosses the past few weeks to hit $200-million.
Unless they were suddenly charging $50 a ticket, it seems kind of fishy that it would suddenly have the type of inflated PSAs posted recently.

  8. Mike says:

It just hit the second run theater in my town, so maybe that’s why?

  9. Stella's Boy says:

Same here, but the second-run theater charges $2 a ticket every day, all day, and it’s always empty. I saw Sicario and The Martian there the first day they appeared at the budget theater, and both were private screenings.

  10. movieman says:

Yep, it’s always the same w/ me, SB.
Finally got around to “The Boy” at a bargain house last week and had the auditorium to myself. Not that I’m complaining, but I wonder how those places even stay in business.
Or how “Spectre” could be posting $3,500+ PSAs at similar second-run locations.

  11. Mike says:

I mainly take my kid to animated movies, but the one in Northern Virginia is often busy, and charges $4 every day but Tuesday. And it’s right next to a state college, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was making some money, though that PSA is crazy.

  12. John E. says:

Allegiant, by comparison, makes the choices made by characters in the first two movies seem logical. Genius even.
